Re: what to make with fleece fabric?
If you don't have a sewing machine, you could always use it to make no-sew fleece throws.
You cut two coordinating pieces of fleece and put them wrong side together, with the good sides facing out. They go down each side with scissors and cut into each piece towards the middle about 1.5 inches, making long strips for the fringe. Do this about every inch around the perimeter, cutting through both pieces. Then tie each fringe piece on the front in a knot to the fringe strip on the back, and viola! You have a blanket with fringe. Last edited by kirst; 01-12-2013 at 09:34 PM. |

Re: what to make with fleece fabric?
If you're interested in play food, I think fleece is a nice alternative to felt! There are lots of cute free patterns available, and most of the play food is sewn by hand
