Balance bike for short little legs

My daughter has a balance bike that my 18 month old, 50th percentile son would love to ride but he needs to grow an inch and a half for it. Did you find a balance bike for your short kid? Thanks.

The Strider is the shortest one I have seen. Most other brands have a higher seat height. We really considered getting Poppy one for her birthday last December but I really wanted a more girly looking cruiser style bike so we decided to wait until she grows a bit. Weight was already a concern because she is barely 25lb and some of the bikes are more than 1/2 her weight

I hear you... my son was 20 pounds at 15 months and he has probably only gained a pound since then.

I was looking into getting a balance bike for my son and found this great comparison/ratings site: http://aperfectplayroom.com/?p=2019. It lists the seat height ranges for each different brand of balance bike.

Thanks for this, very helpful. Looks like any of the acceptable bikes are still too high for our son, who has a 10 inch or less inseam.
