Has anyone tried this maternity support?
Hey ladies!
I had a lot of trouble with back pain in my last pregnancy, and I'm looking at getting a decent maternity support this time around. But all the regular ones that I've seen look bulky and uncomfortable, with the straps and velcro and buckles, etc. I came across the Blanqi Body Styler support the other day on Pinterest, and wondered if anyone has tried it. It looks smoother and more comfortable, and I saw in their reviews that some women are wearing them to bed, which would be great for round ligament pain when rolling over. (OUCH!) There are lots of positive reviews on their website (of course) but I'd love to hear from some mamas here who have tried them. Or, have you tried something else that you'd recommend? Thanks!

I used a medula band. It didn't feel like it was doing anything but did make a big big big diff in my sciatica. I wore it all day but I found by about 6pm it was irritating my belly. I wore it for two weeks and didn't need it anymore.

Re: Has anyone tried this maternity support?
I have a bellybra that I just got this week. No straps, Velcro, etc. I think it may be helping, but I've only used it a few days. Its not bulky at all. Target online was cheapest place I could find it.

Re: Has anyone tried this maternity support?
My physical therapist recommended the one from Motherhood Maternity. They don't have the right one online, but the gal at Motherhood knew what one I meant as soon as I said my PT sent me. It was $30 or $35?

Re: Has anyone tried this maternity support?
Haven't ordered it yet, but I'm still seriously considering it. I wish I could find one second hand! They're kind of expensive, but it will be worth it if it works of course!

Re: Has anyone tried this maternity support?
I have been using the one from Motherhood maternity and it has made such a difference.
The Blanqi Body Style doesn't look like it would be any good but the fact that you would have one less line would be nice. Last edited by lemon.extract; 03-25-2013 at 05:33 PM. |
