I just got some BGE. I was so excited to finally get some to add to my stash! I have used 3 and the soaker inside gives them such a strange fit. I have them on the largest rise setting (unsnapped). I can't seem to get the soaker to lay straight. I get either a bulge in the back or front. What can I do? I want to love these diapers, but it's not happening!

Common issue people have with BGEs. Many people detatch one end of the soaker so it is flappy like. Faster drying & fixes that issue. ;0)

Re: BGE-wonky soaker?
My DS still wears his on the middle rise setting. There is definitely some folding/overlap of the soakers at the front, but I also fold over all his Flip stay-dry inserts, since he uses the same rise setting on his Flips. I don't feel like it creates a weird bulge or a too-bulky fit at all, and he never seems uncomfortable. I always assumed they'd lay flat on the largest rise setting, but I haven't tried it yet, since he's sort of a shrimp.

Re: BGE-wonky soaker?
Your only option to have a nice flat laying soaker is to detach one end, here are a couple pics to show you what we mean:
![]() ![]() I've never been able to get rid of that bulge without detaching the soaker

Re: BGE-wonky soaker?
I'm afraid I will do this, hate it, and never be able to resell :/

Re: BGE-wonky soaker?
same issue. I have two that have literally been sitting since the first time worn (toddler test drove one, baby test drove the other) both pooped, and survived, but the soaker bugged me enough I simply never put them on them again, and I don't sew in the slightest, so I think detaching a soaker isn't an option for me.
