What do you when you have to go somewhere? DD is 21 months, so still young, but catching on quickly. I put her in a diaper in the carseat and if we go somewhere that isn't someone's home. But I wonder if I'm setting her back?
Do you take a small potty with you? What about in the carseat? I don't think her trainer could catch a whole accident. I would love to hear what others do

Re: PT'ing when out and about
I would get a good pee and/or poop in right before leaving to go out somewhere, then when you get there, maybe take her again. If you are traveling far, you can put her in a diaper and just call it a "travel diaper". Or, you can put down a chux pad in her carseat if you choose to have her stay in undies. Take the small potty with you. I've done that when going to another person's house and make it very accessible but not in the way. At some point you want to intro her to public restrooms. From what I've read, it's easiest to have girls stand on the rim of the seat because they pee straight down (I've never had to do this because I have boys
. I hope these suggestions help!

Re: PT'ing when out and about
Go before & after you leave. I have seen few bring potty in car as our old school not have johns although few boys hide behind/ corner. Visit potty frequently.
