Basically TGIF!
![]() We are a group of parents that chat and support each other. We have been at this for a while so some of us are out of the diapering stage. ...some were out and are back in again. Every once in a while we actually get to answer a diaper question or two in here. If you are looking for a very diverse and open group come on over and chat.

Re: Basically TGIF!
Morning mamacitas. DS site giving me problems this morning. Thank goodness I have had two cups of coffee, LOL.
Half day at school today. It is 16F but snowing wet snow, how is that possible? It is going to be a mess at the bus stop. And I bet a mess to drive on the roads. I need to go to Michaels and see what open stock frames they have while they are still on sale. They are 50% off and they have a 15% off entire purchase right now. I finished my painting, and it is four 16x20 canvases that I want framed individually so I can hang them as a single picture group or individually.

Re: Basically TGIF!
Ugh. I just changed out all Ian's pants so they wouldn't be highwater. Today he comes down with a shirt that has sleeves 2 inches too short. Make it stop.
Seriously, I just went through all his clothes first week of December.

Re: Basically TGIF!
Ugh Janine. I am so sorry.
Yay for half days Jen! So I bought the frames, but I forgot I need offset clips to mount the canvas to the frame. And of course I could buy them locally for $2 each or I can order them online $25 for 144. So I guess I have to order and wait for those, ugh. Or I might just use duct tape, LOL. The last time I went and bought open stock standard size frames, there were tons to choose from. Now the stores that normally carry them only have a few, and they are all plastic to look like wood. I'm sure to increase their custom frame sales. And it used to be easy to just go buy a 16x20 frame, even with collage frames or stock art in them, for cheap but now they are all 14x18 matted to 11x14 or collage or whatever and 16x20 is HTF. Even at WM. Boo.

Re: Basically TGIF!
Is this the office chair? Your day keeps piling it on, doesn't it?
![]() I had originally planned to take the kids to the library this afternoon, but the snow is making the roads bad. And I'm not really prepared to make dinner. It may just have to be a ravioli night, LOL.

Re: Basically TGIF!
When I was out waiting for the bus, I had on a wool coat, no gloves, boots but not snowboots because I normally spend less than five minutes outside to retrieve the girls after school. Today I waited, five, ten, fifteen, twenty minutes while it snowed really heavily wondering why there was NO traffic at all on our road. Was there an accident? Were the roads too bad? Apparently they never rang the school bell for early release, and everyone just sat in their classrooms and waited indefinitely.

Quote:
My back is killing me. I went to the Ortho docs today...the same one as a couple of days ago. Not only did he have a go at me because he'd already examined me a couple of days ago and he's got "better things to do" he then got pissy with me when he noticed that I hadn't been there for years between the appointment from last summer and the time before that. He asked me why I wasn't there if I always have pain. When I said I went to a different doctor because I couldn't get an appointment here. He then went off on a rant about how in the UK people wait 6 months to see a GP and then another 4 months to see a specialist...and then waiting for treatment. Then he went on another rant saying how German doctors fly tot he UK to perform surgery on the weekends for the UK patients. Well IDK about that but the rest is rubbish! FCOL...just because I speak with an English accent I get this all the time. All I needed him to do was to find the exact point where the pain is and to send me on to the massage therapist with the correct information. Instead he called my GP telling him he didn't know why he'd sent me there and that with the pain meds I'm no he cant give me anything esle and that he had no intention of touching me in a chiropractic manor. I drove home and went to my GP. He then gave me the prescription for massage and I went to try and get booked in for a massage. Nothing doing here until Wednesday....however I can get one on Monday in town. So now I have to get the prescription back from the place in the village and got to town earlier to get the massage done. The whole family is going out to a chocolate factor tomorrow with Heiner's band...except for Fynn and me. So that's going to be fun.
