Pancakes in the freezer?
If I make pancakes, using my normal recipe, Can I freeze them and then microwave them later?

Re: Pancakes in the freezer?
I make small ones freeze them and then the kids put them in the toaster it makes them kinda crispy on the outside which is how I like mine.

Re: Pancakes in the freezer?
I might try putting ours in the toaster. I freeze mine for the kids, heat them in the microwave. I don't like them because they are so soft but the kids like them. Maybe I'll try putting some in the toaster for me.

Re: Pancakes in the freezer?
I make a giant batch once a month and freeze. I also make breakfast burritos and freeze them.

Re: Pancakes in the freezer?
Yep, my pancakes are pitiful, so when my mom visits she makes up a bunch for DS and we freeze them.
![]() Stacey, How do you make and freeze (and warm) your burritos? My DH loves them, but gets up super early and I'm up late w/ the baby, so I never cook.

Re: Pancakes in the freezer?
Curious on the burito recipe. For mine, I do scrambled eggs with extras (bacon, onion, green pepper, cheese, ect) and wrap it in a tortilla shell. seal each one individually in press and seal, and freeze in gallon freezer bag. Take 1 out the day before and thaw in fridge. Microwave in the AM!
This way I can make them with whatever I have in the house or whatever the eater likes! And thawing helps prevent that hard outside, frozen middle syndrome.
