Re: best (and reasonably priced) swim diapers
I have a Bummis and an Imse Vimse...honestly I've rarely used them. I much prefer to use an unstuffed pocket.
![]() ETA: it does not have to be waterproof...so you could probably pick up a SUPER cheap de-laminated diaper on FSOT

Re: best (and reasonably priced) swim diapers
We like our Bummis well enough (though it seems to run quite large) but we L-O-V-E our i play.! It's a bit more expensive than other swim diapers, but you don't need to purchase a separate suit to go over it so I think the price evens out. Nicki's has them on sale now, I believe.

Re: best (and reasonably priced) swim diapers
I just got two Charlie Banana swim diapers from Nickis' (large for our 24lb DD) and they are PERFECT! It has light padding for holding wetness if they pee out of the water or en route to swimming (i.e. car seat!)

Re: best (and reasonably priced) swim diapers
I LOVE my motherease swim diaper, and my GroVia shells as a swim diaper. If you have GroVia or pockets in your stash, just use those minus the inserts, shrinking the rise down a setting to accommodate for the lack of insert.

I didn't like my grovia shells for diapering, but I love them as swim diapers :-)

I use applecheeks but they are pretty pricey. I've heard great things about monkey doodlez, they are really inexpensive.
