Hip/Pelvic Pain, Anyone Else???

For the past month I have been experiencing extreme Hip, mostly lower pelvic pain. I feels like someone is trying to pry my pelvis apart, I feel crippled. I have never experienced anything like this in my other 2 pregnancies, not even I the third tri. If this continues I can't imagine the next four months. Has anyone else ever experienced this so early??

Yep per, right now and I don't appreciate it one bit. Today, I just took one step forward and it felt as though my left hip was going sideways away from me. Felt like hell.

I experienced quite a bit of pain through my 3rd pregnancy. I visited the chiropractor and the pain relief was noticeable with only one visit. I went once after the birth of my third child and once a year later as my body "settled" lol. I went to the chiro earlier this month for the same pain and I am feeling much better. I will go monthly until the baby is born. I found a chiro who specializes in treating pregnant women. I hope you feel better soon!

I was having terrible low back, hip and shooting down the leg pain that would come and go and was miserable. I went to a chiropractor for 2-3 weeks and its totally gone. It's like a miracle.

Unfortunately I have had that with all my pregnancies (not just in the 3rd trimester). With two of them I regulared the chiro but it did not help it much. I bought a maternity support belt to wear. Helps SO MUCH! Here is the link to the one I have. I don't use the over strap but that is personal preference. Other styles have not helped so much.

I walk around now like I'm not even pregnant most of the time. A charm. Hope you get some relief.

Re: Hip/Pelvic Pain, Anyone Else???

Peeking in from DIM, this is called SPD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphys...is_dysfunction
for some women it starts in the 1st trimester, thankfully mine did not start until around 33 weeks this time, but the cracking and pain when rolling at night time is enough to seem like it has been around forever. I was looking around for the website I used with a previous pregnancy where it shows some exercises to help with it, if I find it I will come back and post
