How early? -- Flutters

I forget, are flutters consider baby movement or maybe.. or maybe gas.

How early did you think you feel your baby move (especially it its not your first)? I am at 8 weeks and am not sure if I'm crazy...

Re: How early? -- Flutters

I felt DD1 at 18 weeks, DS at 12 weeks, and DD2 for sure at 9 weeks but felt some flutters before that I thought may be baby. I think it is impossible to feel baby that early with the first baby but not subsequent babies since you know for sure the difference between gas and baby by that point.

I've felt my babies before 10 weeks. You're not crazy. Not regularly or anything, just the occasional little tap or flicker that feels like a tiny frog in my belly, really low down.

Re: How early? -- Flutters

Definitely around 9 weeks this time and feeling it more regularly after I eat at 14 weeks. This is my second. With my first I wasn't sure it was kicks until the gender us and I could see him kicking and feel it at the same time. Soooo cool.

I felt this one around 11 weeks, he was sooo low and close to the outside. My other 2 I didn't feel until the "normal" 20ish weeks.

Re: How early? -- Flutters

I've only felt it a few times but it's in the same spot under my belly (my belly already looks like 4 months pg). Seems like a funny spot for gas

I will be interested to find out what side the baby is on. That will probably nail it for me.

I felt #1 and 2 for sure by 10ish weeks. #3 around 11 and this stinker (with an anterior placenta) I wasn't sure I felt until 16 weeks. But nothing regular until 22 week.

DH felt this one at 9 weeks. Certainly not crazy.

Oh and I feel implantation most of the time. This one implanted at night so I was asleep but generally speaking I felt implantation.

Re: How early? -- Flutters

I've been told its highly unlikely to feel it that early...but I don't see why not. You can feel all sorts of things going on in your body.
I am certain I felt a real flutter at 9 weeks. I was laying down in the dark and the feeling was unmistakable. I have felt it since, but a lot of it is gas and digestion.

With dd1 I want to say i felt it around 16 weeks. I could be off.
dd2- was 13 weeks.
