Okay we just moved into our house a month ago and we are still working on our room. We need to get bookcases, and a nice big desk. Right now we have a few things and use it as a playroom/school room because we start homeschooling once my son is done with public school, and deschooling! But here is what we have so far:

Here is the school room with computer desk, some posters, and in the corner is my daughters play area:

The other side of the room has a chalk and white board, and our ten drawer rolling cart:

Our posters

Here is a better picture of the chalk board and white board, with our United States of America carpet

Here is the carpet:

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I really like your layout. I just bought the same Solar System poster a few months ago. I love your rug!!

I am not happy with my school room so I will be following this thread for ideas.

I think my biggest challenge is I need to get more creative with my space.

Re: Homeschool area pictures please--need some inspiration

I could post pictures, but it wouldn't look like anything except my house. We store everything in a cabinet in the dining room and then school happens wherever we are. The older two often do school in their rooms, the youngest typically at the dining room table, but they all 3 sometimes do it outside, sometimes in the living room. We've done school on my bed before. And in the car/truck.
