Re: Vasospams/raynauds of nipples

There was a medication I was prescribed, I can't remember the name of it. I only had to take it for a few weeks, and it completely cleared up my Raynauds!

Nifedipene, that's what it was. If I hadn't been given this medication, I would have quit in his first few weeks. I had more pain from feeding him than I did pushing with no epidural.

Only a few weeks! Maybe worth a try bc I am so close to quiting BF it hurts so bad!
Going to try B6 in the meantime.

Any side effects with nifedipine?

I had a really bad anaphylactic reaction to nifedipen.

Anyone notice that their milk would slow down in flow once the spasms started?

Re: Vasospams/raynauds of nipples

I had it really bad... but only in one nipple!

Quick fix; fill a sock with rice, tie it off, and microwave it for 20 seconds, and put it in your bra. Alternatively I hear wool pads work too. Anything to keep the nips warm!
