Crockpot refried beans recipe?

Anyone have a good recipe for refried beans in the crockpot? I tried the recipe on the bag of a bag and they had no flavor at all!

I would love to hear some ideas as well!

The only way I know of to add flavor is by using bacon grease Yummy, but I'd really like a slimming alternative

No slimming alternative, but here is 2 different ways I have made it.

Clean pinto beans and cover with water, add a ham hock, garlic, onions and salt. Serve with sour cream, cheese, and pico de gallo.

Clean pinto beans and cover with water, add bacon, garlic, green onions, diced green chilis, and diced canned tomatoes. Serve the same as above.

Whoops. just saw you wanted to make refried beans. I just take them out of the crock when they are done, and much them in a little bacon grease, or without and they are really flavorfull. That's usually day two and on, but would be great same day too.
