Good book for pregnant woman?
I have a friend who is due in September and I'd like to get a book on breastfeeding for her. She definitely wants to breastfeed but she has no family support on it and doesn't know anyone who does except me, and I live 3.5 hours away. Also, she'll be going back to work at 8 weeks and pumping, so if possible I'd like to find a book that covers pumping issues too.
What is your favorite book? Something informative but also readable -- not so dry that she'll just put it down. I never read a book so I don't know. I want to send her the book and also look up the number for an IBCLC lactaction consultant in her area (is that redundant, like "PIN number"?), and put the number on the inside sleeve of the book, just in case. Any other ideas? I don't want to overwhelm her but I just really want to see this work for her. |

I didn't read any books IRL, I just read kellymom and learned as much as I could.
