Anyone make their baby's food?

Just wondering if I am the only one here, because I made a post in the Kitchen section over a week ago for us to share recipes but NO ONE posted!! Unbelievable! I can't believe that all these crunchy mama's have no cool or favorite recipes for their baby's food! Danni

I do. I made all dd1's food. DD2 has just started solids so everything is just single ingredient fruits and veggies right now. I have a book by Annabel Karmel (i think) that has some great recipes for baby food.

Re: Anyone make their baby's food?

Hi! I am new here. I just joined a few days ago. Before I started to stay at home I used to teach classes on how to make your own baby food. I haven't been teaching for about 3 years but I do have some great recipes for teething biscuits and other great ideas for kids. I will have to dig those recipes up and post them if anyone is interested.

I second http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/. Though I have to say that when my DD was eating baby food, I just really did the basics. I didn't do any fancy recipes.

I just steamed and pureed veggies and grains, then froze or refrigerated them in little containers.I would also just puree some of our food, too.

I started off giving my LO avacados... he loved them ..and still does..

After that.. ( he was 7 mths anyway ) I just mushed up our food that we were eating.. he LOVED.. green beans.. potatoes.... and I actually cooked butternut squash ..and the family loved it.. he ate what we ate though
