Questions about longies
Is there such a thing as a summer-weight longie? We are starting my DD on fitteds & wool. I thought this would be great for her since she was leaking in her pockets. Anyway, I only have a few soakers at this point.
Lately at night, it's been chilly in the house. Is there such a thing as a light-weight longie or capri? Does anyone make these here? I am sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. I am so new to wool!!

Re: Questions about longies
I'm sure you can find something. In the winter we sometimes just used a soaker and babylegs.

Re: Questions about longies
You could also try wool shorties. They would offer more prodection than the regular soakers and keep more of her legs cover. Guess that's pretty much the same idea as capris. I can make both too.

Re: Questions about longies
there are different weights of wool fabric & wool yarn. i have some that i think are very lightweight (wool of the andes/cascade 220 and 100purewool for instance). and there are some chunkier yarns that still seem pretty airy to me - e.g., some Beaverslide shorts which i love and dd wears all the time.

Re: Questions about longies
I've been using shorties mostly with babylegs and socks on him at night. We'll start using longies again all the time in the fall.
