Diaper Swappers

okay i went in for another ultrasound on the twins today and they could only detect one baby...and that baby was much smaller than it should be with my due date and with the first ultrasound results.

they scheduled me for a 3D ultrasound in a few days in a nother town with high-risk doctors but this is what they are thinking...they are thinking i miscarried the twins and then within a few days of miscarrying (me not even knowing it

) i ovulated and got pregnant again. i never even had a period. i have bleeding a month or so ago but they did an ultrasound then and the babies were okay but then they didn't do another one and i bled for about 2 weeks after that - mostly light with a few heavier days. has anyone had this happen or heard of it? i can't believe this...i am hoping the baby is just small even though i guess it is most likely i lost at least one twin.

i am confused and am just wanting to know if anyone has any other info please! thanks mamas...

and if this post appears like 5 times it is because DS keeps timing out on me!

Oh wow, I haven't heard of twins being lost like that, but way back when of fertilityfriend I did have a girl in my group who got pg and m/c'd with no bleeding/loss of tissue and got pg again right away.

I hope you get some positive answers soon!

i didn't know bodies could do that so fast but i guess anything is possible. i am just praying all is okay with this 3D - i'm so glad it is available!

When I was pregnant with my first daughter I got a positive pregnancy test and was so excited and went to my family Dr who did one and sent me to get a us to look at dates. We were not trying to get pregnant so I would'nt know how far along I was. Well I was almost 8 weeks. 3 days later after we told EVERYONE I started bleedig really bad like a period. So I waited a few days than went to the dr he said that I mc and to come back in a few days if the bleeding doesn't stop. He did the us to make sure there was nothing in there and there wasn't. Well in about 7 days or so the bleeding was gettig better I went to the dr to make sure everything was ok and to our surprise there was another sac with a little bean that was almost 10 weeks by than? They had no explanation for me excpet that I must have been pregnant with twins and my bosyt rejected the one wthat was not healthy. The reason they said that was all th blood work and other things went along with it.

I hope that helps my Dr. said that he had seen that before. And he couldn't explain it.

How much smaller are they saying the baby is?Is it smaller than the last ultrasound picture you saw of the babies?

My SIL was pregnant w/ twins and lost one of the twins.. The other was measuring a little smaller than it should have been but in a month was right on target.
