My baby has gone 6 days without pooping?
Exclusively Bf'ed other than a couple tastings in the past couple weeks of unsweeted organic yogurt...help

my son used to go almost 2 weeks without pooping. i wouldn't be too concerned if he isn't acting like he is pain. but if you are worried you should call your pedi

Sometimes bf babies will poop less often when they are on a growth spurt....they just use every last bit and there's not much to pass on lol

I don't think its anything too serious, but do watch if it starts causing pain or makes baby uncomfortable.

Ashton was doing the same thing. He waited FOREVER and then had the funkiest blowout ever. He flooded that poor cd! I had to wash his clothes, my clothes, his swing, and his changing pad! Yuck!!! He did that for about 3 weeks now he poops all the dang time! I wish he'd go back to his "old ways"!

i have a nephew that consistently went poopy once every 7 days. and man...it was a mudslide!!

I didn't read any of the posts but my DD is the same way. Well she was until I recently started letting her taste some baby food. She mostly goes like once a week if that. Her pedi said that BF babies absorb almost all of the nutrients and have very little waste to poo. I gag every time I change her poopy dipes now b/c I am so used to her BFing dipes and the solid food dipes are the worst!!! :babypoop: Does he/she seem truly constipated? Like straining or crying with a tummy ache? If not I wouldn't worry a/b it. I read on http://www.kellymom.com that a baby can goes for more than 14 days w/o having a poo....you might search on there to get a little more info. GL!!!!

Both of my DD's like to hold their poop for 1- ??? days. DD1 would go for 8 or so. I have heard with breast-fed it is more common. I wouldn't be too alarmed! Keep watching for wet dipes to be sure that your DC is hydrated and be ready for an explosion to come but everything should be

My boys are big poopers, so I can't say that I have that problem- or blessing whichever way you look at it but two of my friends kids would go almost two weeks... and no real problems.
