Bottle or sippy?

Hi, my daughter has been ebf for 6 months and has taken a bottle of bm maybe twice when I've been away. I was looking into replacing the bottles I have with glass, but now that she's getting bigger and it's been recommended to me that we start introducing cereal soon and offering bm in a sippy, can I skip the bottles altogether and just use the sippy instead? I was looking into getting a Klean Kanteen for her (I still plan to bf indefinitely), she will still only need to be fed occasionally in my absence, but possibly more than usual at the holidays. Thanks!

If she has only had a bottle a few times, it's not likely she will be big on taking one now. I'd just go straight to the sippy and not worry about getting any more bottles, especially if you aren't going to need to give her ebm very often.

I agree, I would go straight to the sippy. No need in confusing things with bottles or making more things to clean for yourself than you have to, LOL.

Go straight to the sippy! I used a sippy from gerber that was made for the breastfeeding baby.

we are leaving Marissa with a babysitter for the first time tomorrow. even though she has had a bottle a couple times in the past, i tried it today, just to be sure. no go. i tried the sippy cup and she would,t suck on it, so i took out the flow "thingy" and she liked that. granted, she wore more then she drank, but it is a start. we are skipping the bottle

Go straight to the sippy. Definately take the flow "thingy" out to start.

yeah, we went right to the cup without the flow thingy. it's to hard to get the hang of getting the milk out of the cup with it in.
