What's the Deal with Sigg?
I have heard some people say they are great and some say they are sketchy. Anyone care to weigh in before I buy some?

I love ours, we have had them almost 4 years and have never had any problems with them.

Re: What's the Deal with Sigg?
I was wondering too what the deal with SIGG was. Here's on discussion I found on mothering.com:

Re: What's the Deal with Sigg?
I've heard they are good. I'm getting some soon from a co-op on another board, so I'll let you know what I think then.

Re: What's the Deal with Sigg?
I'd LOVE to try some... I'll have to keep my eye out for a co-op!

Re: What's the Deal with Sigg?
We have a bunch. I love them. Love the colors/prints. Love the sports cap (once I figured it out).
If you drop it on concrete it will dent. This could flake the paint. It does not effect performance. If you drop a full bottle on the cap, the lid will break. They do sell replacement lids/caps. I SIGG

Re: What's the Deal with Sigg?
That post was from 2005! That is 3 years ago. Alot of research is done on a regular basis and they have tested the lining on the siggs. I am not concerned in the slightest with them, until something proves otherwise.

Re: What's the Deal with Sigg?
Thank you for asking this question! I heard a mama recently dissing them probably due to outdated material, too. So I've been freaking out trying to find out if it's true. I just bought one for my older son last week and he loves it, especially as his night drink b/c I got the glow in the dark one. It works well except I don't like that I can't fit regular ice cubes in it. They all got the Foogo thermos for christmas and I love those, too, except the straw becomes detached often
That can be annoying. I got my littlest guy the sippy one with handles and I have to say it's tough as heck. It's got a small crack on the plastic bottom and several dings because he loves to drop his drink on the floor. He almost broke my toe in the grocery store with it! Ok, off subject. I would probably buy more Siggs, I like mine.
