Re: Jumping into PF's and wool/fleece but have???
Either infant or regular size. My son outgrew the infant Indian prefolds at 4 months, and has been in regular/premium size ever since.
Many places carry prefolds, I would watch for free shipping sales as they are quite heavy and thus expensive to ship... I love both Indian and Chinese and have some of each. The most luxurious prefold I have ever tried is an organic cotton one from Tiny Bird Organics... but those are pricy!! These are the softest, then the Indian ones, then the Chinese ones. I have used only Bumpy for wool covers. You can machine wash them too! I do not know who else is good, but we love our Bumpy here... Fleece-love the Calico Baby ones. They are trim and work really well. I cannot wait for the Swaddlebees' fleece covers. They are due at the end of the month. Hope this helps!

Re: Jumping into PF's and wool/fleece but have???
I have a sugarpeas fleece cover that is a medium for my 4 month old, It is a little bulky under pants, but fine under a baby sleeper, or when it is warm warm he wears it with just a t-shirt. That is super soft! I also have a couple of pairs of wool shorties from bj marketplace/kozy designs(medium). They are not expensive, soft, and great for daytime. I would not use them for nights. I also have an aristocrat(small) that I use for naptime. Hopefully I will use it for nightime soon.

Re: Jumping into PF's and wool/fleece but have???
The is a place on ebay that I got 24 infant prefolds delivered for just over a 1 a diaper for CPFs, $25 something. Alpine leaf or something like that. If you haven't already got the others pm'me and I'll look up the name for sure
We've been using them for a couple months and they seem just fine to me.

Re: Jumping into PF's and wool/fleece but have???
I would say if you want to save money to go ahead and get premium sized prefolds. You can also find a fold where you can fold them down or under so that it fits his size. I use premium prefolds still on my 1 year, 25 pound son and still have to fold them down so that's a good size and should last you awhile. I use Snappis with mine.
Also, I have some recycled wool and some knitted and like them both. Good luck finding what you like. Once the addiction starts, it just keeps growing .

Re: Jumping into PF's and wool/fleece but have???
Fleece - I love loveybums and sugarpeas- trim and stretchy - you might get some compression wicking with fleece though so I wouldn't use it for long car trips
I am also going to start making my own I love fleece so much!Wool - loveybums is also a good place to start if you are looking for wrap-style covers at a reasonable price - but not machine washable. For knit wool there are many WAHMs here that do great work and prices will vary. |

www.granolababies.com has free shipping this month, they have Chinese prefolds, bleached and unbleached, I just got some from there, shipped really fast with nice packaging and free samples.
