When did you get aunt flo back?

Ive been bf'ing for nearly 5 months now, and no aunt flo here at ALL! I had a tubal ligation back in 02, so doubtful im preggers or anything, but i still worry I eat like a pig, but i think thats just the nursing

Is it normal to go soooo long without a PP period?

Totally normal, AF may not even show up until you wean your DC.

For me, AF came back in at 6 months post partum, perfectly regular cycle for two months, then nothing. I haven't had AF since January, but tested and got a BFN. I did some research and found that it's very common for AF to make an appearance, then disappear again.

AF (that's funny because DH's nieces and nephews actually call me "Aunt Flo") came back 6mos PP. I cried when I got it. However, I haven't gotten again and I am sure I'm not preggo. I am glad I read this..

12.5 mos and still no AF here! I'm hoping she stays gone for a while longer, although I have taken two preg tests at diff times because I was worried.
And my DD eats solids during the day, too, but I still pump once when I am away and she nurses at least 4 times a day.

Re: When did you get aunt flo back?

I was just thinking about this yesterday and realized I haven't had one since December of '06. We are 7mos now, and I was a little freaked about starting solids since I'm not looking forward to her return, but so far no sign.

Re: When did you get aunt flo back?

With my first, I started some solids at 4 months (what did I know? LOL)- AF back at 7 months PP, pg by 8 months PP

Second, we waited until about 6.5 months to begin solids, AF back at 7 months again, pg by 8 months, AGAIN

Third, we didn't give ANYthing but breastmilk until maybe 8 months-ish, AF back at 9 months

I would love to be one of those mamas who don't get it until they wean completely!
