Embedding pics in post

I used to use that little mountain icon with no problem, now it won't work for me.
Can you direct link to Flickr or just Photobucket? Are there any others? I can stand PB and the uploading one pic at a time, the bulk uploader won't work for me on there.
Please aid the computer challenged!!

I don't know for sure about Flickr, but I've direct-linked from my Shutterfly account before w/o any trouble. You can try the Flickr by right-clicking, selecting "copy image location" and then pasting that in between [ IMG] and [ /IMG] (w/o the spaces).

Well, either Flickr doesn't do it or I'm dumber than I thought. I can get it to work with PB, but not Flickr.

I am sure its not you mama. My hubby has a flicker account so I will ask him when he gets home.

I do have a flickr account, and I use the direct link for all my pics.

This is how I attach them:

Upload the photo (Of course..)
Go to the image size that you want:


Take option #2, the static URL:


Come back into DS and click on the yellow mountain:


Paste the image URL into the box, and press


All of the photos in here were posted just like that

I was looking for this information, I couldn't figure out how to do the pictures with flickr. I have photobucket accounts, I'm having problems with them.. Thank you so much for the helpful information..
