Washing covers?

So, I'm new to covers. I know they shouldn't be washed on hot. I normally use fabric softener with my clothes. So, should I wash the 5 of them alone? Also, should my ubcpf's be washed on hot, or should I wash them on warm and throw the covers in with them?

I just wash my covers with my diapers... I didn't know that you weren't supposed to wash them in hot water?

Some covers can be washed on hot, namely the BSWW.

Re: Washing covers?

See, I have bsww, and they say to wash at normal temps. Which to me means warm. But, I guess I've just heard that the hot wears them out quicker. I know my regular pul ones can be washed on hot. Oh well, if bsww were $20 I might be a little more concerned

Re: Washing covers?

I wash all mine together. Bummis, proraps- all the pul ones. They're holding up fine. I do only line dry them, though. I think the dryer on hot might be more or a problem.

I wash my bsww on hot and they still look like new a year or so later!
