ok that's not very gramatical. It seems like 90% of teh diapers I by used have build up. I wash them individually (learned the hard way) and most of the time inches of suds just in rinsing. So i spend all afternoon stripping 1 dipe to add to my stash. i use biokleen & never have any suds after wash & 2 rinses.

Is it worth it? My luck? thank goodness we have a well but i'm gonna run it dry just with dipes

i recently had this problem and learned the hard way as well. but we also have well water. i still think the good deal is worth it personally, could be b/c i don't have to pay for the water though lol.


ETA: had dh known that the reason ds stunk so bad that morning was b/c it was buildup..and not even buildup from us he'd probably ban me from DS lol. but we'll just keep it our little secret lol. and from now on i know to strip dipes first instead of just wash em with ours. no biggie! also i don't think that's happened to me 90% of the time.

It hasn't happened to me with all the used dipes I've got, but I definitely know what you're talking about. I'd say it's been 50/50. I'm dreading my water & electric bill 'cause I've done SO much washing of the used dipes (and the new PFs I got too!).
