Breastfeeding milestone

I have nursed my twins longer than any of my other kids! I am very excited about this. It took them 3 months to latch on and now they are 11 months (tomorrow) and still nursing! I don't think the babies are ready so I am not trying to wean them yet. At 13 months I will start night weanig though so I can get some sleep. I am starting then because they were premature and I want them to have been 1 year from full term. This was the youngest age to night wean that I saw in an article someone recommended. So, I just wanted to share my excitement. I have never even considered going past a year before. We will see how it goes.

Re: Breastfeeding milestone

That is AWESOME! I have nursed each of my babes a little longer than the one before and hope to continue that trend with my ds.

Way to go!
