I got one of these in a trade recently, it's gorgeous tie dyed! Only problem is, I can't figure it out. I've only used a wrap made with 6 yards of fabric tied around us so this is very foreign. I went on the babywearing website, mamato or something like that, but none of the ring sling videos worked. Is the ring sling for toddlers? It sure doesn't seem like it, it's really ackward and doesn't provide any support on my daughters upper body even when trying to wear her on my hip...so I'm lost, any suggestions? Or should I just stick to my wrap?? Any help would be greatly appreciated before 9am, my dd's party is today and I won't be on after that and was hoping to wear her while I get the party decorations up and such!

is it unpadded? What i do for a hip carry is make it rather loose, make sure the rings are at your shoulder and then put mt DD in while hold her. I kinda sit her there. Then I pull tight If I need support at the shoulders I pull the fabric up higher (but make sure its still wrapped around her butt) this is sooo hard to explain online!

What kind of fabric is it? For a bigger kid, you should have a stronger fabric. I have one made of denim that really holds all 30 lbs of Hazel well. Yo
