Hey all you freakishly competitive Spokane mommas... ready for a challenge?

Ok, my house needs to be cleaned BAD ! I need a little drive though, so anyone want to play?

My suggested rules....
1. Take pics of what your house looks like NOW and post them by 10am Saturady morning - retakes of a clean house by Sunday 7pm.
2. Each momma competing puts something in the 'pot' - I'll put a 1/2 dozen 8 x 8 velour/baby terry wipes in the pot
3. THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN BY A POLL IN THE OFF TOPIC SECTION as to who did the most cleaning

All the little things count too - laundry, the fridge you've been meaning to clean since Christmas time - just take a pre been cleaned picture of it !

What do you think???? A go or should I have the thread deleted?

well since I won' t be home most of the weekend I would be cheating.. I cleaned some what today. I mopped the living room dining room.. been trying to get laudnry done all week and I cleaned out the fridge last week.. I tend to clean when I am pissed at DH and well since he is on the drugs that make him mean well my house is getting clean.. HAHA!!

I would so be in on it next week though!!

Anyhow, here's my pics and excuses to follow

LIVING ROOM - My co-op shipping boxes and the flooring for our kitchen won't be going anywhere Yea for keeping shoes organized
BEFORE:

AFTER: My jogger is going to have to live in here for a couple more days until I get to take all the Goodwill stuff and drop it off that's living in the back of my suburban


KITCHEN - we're not quite done w/remodeling, so the floor isn't finished, some of the trimwork, etc. I AM GOING TO GET THIS MASSIVE PILE OF CONSTRUCTION CRAP OUT OF HERE THOUGH! And, yes, my fridge needs love....ewww !

AFTER: I cleaned out my fridge!!! Good news... I learned I think I LOVE ironing compared to cleaning the fridge - I think next time I'll have to give myself a choice..."OK, Meaghan, it's either iron DH's shirts or clean the fridge." Nathan's construction/tools are still in the corner...he just about killed me when I started moving them out to the shed - he doesn't want to have to walk all the way out there to get them each time he needs a tool


FAMILY ROOM - I'll try to put DH away for the post pics My DESK is a mess!

SEWING ROOM - OK this is SO not my issue Olivia helps me by pulling ALL the fabric out of the cabinets

MASTER BEDROOM - Clean clothes that need to be put away, dh's nasty nightstand



NO AFTERS - didn't even touch it - Nathan did some sanding and didn't put the plastic up in the doorway between the bath and our room - so there's a nice thick layer of dust on EVERYTHING. I'm not touching the room right now!

BATHROOM - again in mist of remodel, but I can sure put some time into cleaning it up!

AFTER: No cleaning done, but Nathan got the pocket door installed and the tile up!


LAUNDRY to do -
BEFORE: at least 5 loads of our clothes, sheets from our bed and all four kids (2 loads), Patrick's laundry (did the girls' and Owen's today), and a load of dipes - so 9 loads
AFTER: did 4 loads

The HALLWAY - the collector of homeless things!
