Help Quick....How much oxyclean?

Okay I am trying to strip my diapers. I have read you can use oxyclean, baking soda is not available to me. On everything I read it says use 2 scoops. Is it the scoop they include in the box? That's a lot of detergent. I thought somewhere I came across where someone said they use 2 TBS, but I cannot find that now. Please Help quick I am trying to do this tonight. Thanks

I only use a 1/2 scoop every once in awhile. But I've never stripped with it.

When I am stripping or trying to REALLY brighten dipes, I actually use 3 scoops and the washer set on super size load. (got stripping instructions that said to use a TON like 7-8 but I only use 3-4). THen I let them soak overnight if possible, next day, drain it out & run a regular wash cycle...I use a power wash/power rinse & then repeat the power rinse option until no bubbles. Usually I only repeat it twice.

When you all say scoops is it the big scoop that came with the oxyclean?

Yeah, it said those scoops in the instructions I read & thats the scoop I use but like I said I only use 3 scoops & the super load size. (it said 1 scoop per gallon of water!! & I thought that was way too much & my dipes still come out looking great & stripped fine)

be careful, that stuff will put holes in your fabric
