What can I do with Brats?

Besides grill them or boil them in beer ?

I wont just "eat" them on a bun..gross IMO. Is there something else I can do with them? Can I add them to soups or something?

I have 2 full packages (about 8 links) in the freezer from a party in October that I would like to use up to get them out of my freezer (I need the space).

This is one of my favorite recipes! I've used it with Brats before because I couldn't find any good English sausage to use with it, it worked really well with them and was so delicious!! It takes a little more work but it's well worth it.

sauteed with veggies in stir fry, with rice, or onions or onions and peppers, grilled and the stir fry separate..stuff like that is what id do wtih them. weve made jambalaya with them, and any of the zatarains things (though i dont eat any of this any more cause of the msg, and we dont eat pork any more either but you can make it rice, seasonings, etc.) beans and rice and add.. stuff like that. we would eat them like kielbasa. good luck!

Really you can add them to anything you would use meat, just depends on how you cut it.

cook and add to saurkraut
add to soups/casseroles

What kind/flavor are they? I take the skins off of italian ones and brown them up to make a homemade spagetti sauce. ( I use 3 links for one batch of sauce though)
