Lil Smokies?

What do I do with lil smokies? I have ended up with a pack of them and have no idea how to use them.

Re: Lil Smokies?

My gramma used to put them in a bath of barbecue sauce in a slow cooker for a few hours. They tasted really good when she did it but I haven't tried it myself.

bbq smokies are delish! Also you could cut them up and put them in an omlet with cheese.

Re: Lil Smokies?

I wrap them in pillsbury cresent roll dough and bake them - pigs in a blanket...

At our family christmas my aunt wrapped some in bacon, sprinkled them with brown sugar and baked them. They disappeared fast. I'm not a fan of bacon so I didn't try them, but she said she just wrapped raw bacon around them and secured it with a toothpick then sprinkled the brown sugar.

My hubby likes them in the slowcooker with bbq sauce or bbq sauce with a jar of grape jelly.

Re: Lil Smokies?

Ive seen them served several ways, in beans (think beanie weenies), in bbq sauce, mixed in mac n cheese, or just browned/heated in a skillet.
