Red face My little guy is growing up too fast!

In a 5 days span my 8 month old son has started crawling (no more pulling himself around on his tummy anymore), pulling himself up into a stand using anything stationary, and he has cut his first tooth tonight!

I knew that it would go fast, but this seems a little ridiculous to me! He was gnawing on my finger tonight and I felt something sharp stab me. I was more than a little surprised to see that there was a tiny bit of tooth poking out of his gums.

On one hand I am so excited that he is growing up and displaying more and more personality every day, but it makes me really sad too. I had always thought that bittersweet was a lame term, but it really does apply to some situations. Those tiny baby days go by way too quickly.
Anjuli, recently separated mom to Bubbles, my 5.5 year old wild man, Squidge, my almost 3 year old daredevil, and Lou, my 7 month old newbie

Re: My little guy is growing up too fast!

DD did the same thing at about that age (well, she still doesn't have teeth). FOr me, it seemed that as soon as she began sitting on her own she started learning things so much more quickly! She is now 11 months old (well, she will be this week), and toddling around our house like nobody's business! It is sad, mama, but isn't it fun too?!
