At least Dom and Nova are sick. Lola is looking OK for now, but that won't last long I'm sure, LOL.
DH's stupid job - if we could only be hermits!
Anyway, is there anything I can give them to help them out? Natural stuff or not. Nova pretty much just has a slightly stuffy nose and a cough, Dom mostly just has a runny/stuffy nose. I feel fine, LOL!
So, any ideas? I'm hoping it's just a cold.

someone on here told me about Little noses and I love it!

my dr also suggested a salt water solution for noses

Lilly just got over being sick....now she's teething I did steam treatments in the bathroom, saline for the nose and a small dose of Tylenol here and there. It started Wed night and she was better by Monday morning.

the little noses does work awesome!! I use a humidifier too, and the crib is elevated. that helps, and when he is in bed with me he sleeps on my arm so his head is elevated. Now if I can just get over the nasty poops with both of them I would be set

I used to use the little noses with Dom, I'll go buy more. They sleep with me, but it's hard to have one head on each arm, etc. LOL. I guess only one is sick, though, so maybe it will work. Babies don't seem to be too sick so far. Dom seems to have it the worst. I hate listening to Nova cough, it makes me feel like a bad mom.
I'll go get Little Noses for later. Dom will only blow his nose 1/10 times maybe, but he's too big to suction, isn't he?

if he's not big enough to blow his own nose, he's not too big to suction!! i used to suction 2 year olds all the time at teh day care i worked at. it was too much for me to see all that snot running down and being sucked in the mouths! they didn't like it, of course, but too bad IMO.

i hope you and lola are spared the illness. we are all sick here and its terrible. so did your dh get that job he applied for a while back? i forgot to ask!

You know what works really well for stuff noses...breastmilk in the nose, kinda like how you would do the saline solution thing.
Yes, yet another wonderful attribute of breastmilk, it worked well for us
