Just FYI:

We bought a crib from Ikea today and got it home and it was the wrong color

(birch), we wanted and paid for a white one. SO, DH took it back and was going to switch and they said, "we're not selling anymore white ones, we're having some issues with quality control".

I have NO IDEA what this means, I just wanted to share with anyone who may have a newer white Gulliver crib! (I'm so jealous by the way...)

Darn thats too bad momma, I am sorry. I had a similar experiance but with a bed. We got our new bed home only to find No bed slats. We called the store and they explained to us that is a seperate item sold at $68!!!! Since we lived 100 miles away we put our mattress in the middle and called it a day.LOL =)
Davinci has real cute inexpensive beds we bought the roxanne in ebony. You can find them at Target or babiesrus

Argh Ikea exchanges are a pain, I bought something and as I was handed the receipt I noticed they had book shelves on it instead of the cupboard I bought

They had me wait and pick up the shelves, then go to returns and return the shelves and get the cupboard, It took nearly 2 hours. So now I check as they are ringing stuff up and interrupt the checker.
So sorry they didn't have the crib, are you going to get a different one?

Yeah it sucked... I really liked that one...

No, I didnt want to spend money on paint too since the crib was already $139 (the white one was $99). I found one on craigslist last night for $100 and she gave me back $50 when I picked it up! So, a new crib for $50 (it was only used randomly by grandbabies.

I liked the Ikea one more but... oh well.
