Evaporated milk

I was just curious, when you mix evaporated milk according to instructions, does it taste like normal non-evaporated milk? And, what would you use it for?

I don't think it taste the same. We use it for everything same as milk when we run out of milk. It's also goo for homeade macncheese, augrauter potatoes, coffee, casaroled, ect. Many uses. It make stuff creamier that milk!

I only use evap milk in fudge & making condensed milk. Dh uses it in his coffee. We don't mix anything into it to use it, just pour straight from the can.

My grandma used to use it to make homemade biscuits. Just used self rising flour and evaporated milk(diluted). I don't think she measured just mixed it together patted out the dough and cut w/ a biscuit cutter. Put oil in her baking pan and rolled each biscuit in the oil so they were coated then baked.
