Hi momma's I know some of you have shared your beautiful comming home outfits. In the daily chat thread. So I thought this would be a place to share it.( please post it again)
I cant believe we are comming into the home stretch time has surely flown by.

Ok so here is mine. I guess I wanted something unique. And I got it. I am in no way good at sewing clothes. Skirts yes and that sort of thing. So this was my first crack without a pattern or any instruction on making an indian outfit for dd. I took some leftover fabrics I had that I really didnt care if they got ruined or not. I guess the hardest part was the sleeves on the shirt. And the belt and pleating on the pants. It is not perfect but not bad either. Dh was actually impressed. And said If I keep making more the little tiny imperfection it has ( which will be hidden by the shirt anyways because it goes below the knees so you cant see it) will be perfect. Wooo Hoo I am so excited I never thought I could make one of these.

Dh laughed because it wasn't pink. Everything pretty much is pink. I still think its very girly though.

Fan - GORGEOUS! I really love the colors too!!!

I haven't even thought about a homecoming outfit. I thought I would just buy one but now that I am sewing, maybe I will try something. I can't wait to see what you all make.. hopefully that will give me some ideas.

This isn't her coming home outfit because we having a homebirth but this is going to be her first outfit.

Jena both are equally adorable! Cm your in florida ( how I envy you right now I sooooo want to be back in florida) I don't think we bought a winter coat for ds it was sooo nice and warm but we were swf. Anyhoo you could make a cute pillowcase dress? And embroidery the bottom. They sell ebroidery kits at joanns with pillow cases included. And you could even get a diffrent colored pillow case. They look simple to make and tie it off with a pretty ribbon at the top? Idk just a suggestion.

Its accepting that both of you are diffrent. And learning to love the uniqueness of each other. Its learning to love those things which drive you nuts, and accepting them and not trying to change someone to how you want them to be.
