A few questions about spitting and poo
DD is 2.5 weeks old. She is gaining very well and nurses every 2 hours or so during the day and every 3-4 at night.
I'm a bit concerned though, about her excessive spitting up. She is literally the spittiest baby I've encountered! She does have a cold right now, thanks to her older siblings, but she spits even when she isn't coughing or whatever. Her poops have also been alternating between the normal yellow/orange and then sometimes green. I know she has been gassy as well and I'm pretty sure the green poop is because she is getting too much foremilk. Could this cause the spitting as well? I'm already only feeding on one breast at each feeding to try to encourage her to get more hindmilk, but is there anything else I can do to combat the spitting and green poops/gassiness? Should I try pumping a bit to get some of the foremilk out before letting her eat? She is a great nurser and I hate to think that she is uncomfortable because of me and my overproducing boobs. Any suggestions??

Re: A few questions about spitting and poo
no suggestions. Maybe just watch what your are eating. I know spicy food, dairy can affect a baby.
