Diaper Swappers

Some of you have seen my last few posts.. so sorry if this seems a bit redundant.

Levi is almost 8 weeks old and I need to size up from his GMD orange edge. Trying to decide if I want to go with Thirsties Duos, Bum Genius 3.0s or stick with prefolds and Thirsties covers.

My 2.5 year old also needs to size up from mediums to larges. I think I've decided to buy a Flip Day pack for him, and try them on the LO too, using infant prefolds. Nice thing is both kiddos could use them, so I'd get my money's worth. And they are pretty economical, at 6 diaper changes a box for just about $50, it's cheaper than any other system, other than PFs and covers.

So.. what do you all think? Flips with a few 3.0's so both kids are covered... or sized PFs and covers or Thirsties Duos for the little one?

well we have sized PF - diaper rite smalls and meds for both our kids we trifold in duo covers as well as flip covers and we also have flip stay drys as our outing diapers -the inserts in the bag and a few covers -- we also have pockets cause i love them lol and do not want to sell them all and want them back in a few months - but our main system is flips/duos with trifolded PF , and pockets for outings if we are out of flip inserts
HTH - so i guess i would say a mixed system , PF are so easy for two IMO

I'm lovin' PFs with my little one. So simple. I'm finding though, that PFs for my 2.5 yr old don't hold up well, and I don't have doublers.

i'm loving flips. they work great for my 7 month old and my 3 year old. i use a combo of the organic inserts, pfs, and the disposables.

I don't like trifold PFs for anyone who is walking; they always creeped out the back for us.

That said, I am surprised how much I'm liking the Flip I just got. I have yet to ebf poop-test it, but so far so good.

I like the Thirsties Duo so much, but I can't wholeheartedly recommend them until they improve their aplix. It's even worse than BGs.

I like the Thirsties Duo, but our favorite are SoftBums since they can get soo small and yet large too.
