Re: Toddler bedding??

My DD has a Circo one from Target too (similar to the owl one) and I love it! I even got the wall decals to go with it - her room is so stinkin' cute, I'm actually slightly jealous. Ha. I just bought another cute and simple striped one for my DS. I royally dislike character stuff too and was glad to see that Target had other options

Yeah, I was trying to be nice about the Disney/Doraish stuff out there! I really strongly dislike it! Thanks for the info. Is the comforter soft on the set?

It's softer than MY comforter! The sheets aren't Egyptian cotton or anything (obviously) but the quality is great for the price.

Re: Toddler bedding??

I have amenity bedding, it's all gender neutral and really cute. The only flat sheets I've ever seen for todller bed/crib mattresses was some Australian brand that theminisocial.com featured a few weeks ago.

Re: Toddler bedding??

Target makes it, but they only had a fitted sheet and a pillow case in their "toddler set" when I bought mine about a year ago. I bought it, then returned it because I wanted a flat sheet.

I just used the set from my crib, then sucked it up and bought DD a princess set when we got DFS and needed it. She LOVED it, and they only stay in toddler bed for such a short time that it was worth it...the set was only $35.

We bought DD's purple butterfly twin set at Walmart. It was cheap and for a 3 year old, the price was right. I'll get her a nice pottery barn or the like set when she is old enough not to jump on the comforter with her shoes on.

Re: Toddler bedding??

Make your own! That's what I did for my dd when I was having the same problem. It is so super simple. A lot of fabric comes 45" wide, so you don't even have to worry anout hemming the long edges. Just cut the material to the right length and hem the top and bottom for the flat sheet. The fitted is a little more complicated cause you have to cut the corners and do the elastic, but it's still pretty easy.

Re: Toddler bedding??

Do you have a Kohl's in your state? They have their own brand called Jumping Beans and they make a bunch of toddler bedding sets that are super cute!
