Re: A little freaked about a big roadtrip with toddler. Advice please!
I would recommend that you consider doing a significantly longer day on the first day so that it wraps up more quickly on day 2. And, the more hours you can log in while they sleep, the better! Good luck!

Re: A little freaked about a big roadtrip with toddler. Advice please!
we did the 14 hr drive from south florida to upstate south carolina just this past January...we did it in one pop. I had just turned the 3yrd olds seat back to rearfacing (thanks to you DS mamas!) and I had a DVD player anchored between the seats...we played all their favorite shows, we stopped every 3 hours to stretch and use the potty....when we stopped for meals we went inside and ate...My 3 yr old had only just been completely PT'd so we put a pull up diaper on him in case he had any accidents and told him if he had an accident it was ok, no one would be upset with him...he did not have any accidents...he told us when he had to go and we pulled over when we could...they slept for a while and it wasnt until it got late that the tears started for the youngest, and we were able to get that under control with a bottle of warm milk...good luck!
