Diaper Swappers

We are getting my son's 6 month photos done in a few weeks and need some ideas. We did my daughter's at 6 months and there are always so many cute girly things. I am at a loss for boys

I was thinking of getting a cute knit hat off of etsy or something, but that is all I have come up with.

Ideas for a sibling photo? My DD is 2 1/2.

I feel so lost on this kind of stuff and am always rushing at the last minute to find something that works.

Personally I like simple and don't think you need a lot of props and things for cute pics at that age. I just did my DS's 6m pics - you can see them http://www.photobiz.com/slideshowbiz/slideshow.cfm?slideshowID=120391&photographerID=22 53

I gave him a few of his favorite toys, one each in a picture, did a dress outfit and then a casual look. I took them myself and love them!

Oh my goodness, he is just adorable!! Thanks for the inspiration that less is more. It is so easy to get caught up in all the stuff. 6 months is such a great time for photos

kiddos are happy and smiley but cant crawl away yet!

I agree that simple pics are the way to go at that age. We did our favorite cloth diaper and favorite outfit. I LOVED the ducky hat so I knew I wanted that. We also have one with DD's favorite toy.

Do you have anything that has been passed down in the family? DD has had her picture made with my old rattle, SO's stuffed bunny, a baby doll crib my grandfather made...things like that we use as props. I am actually going to get her 18 month done in a few weeks and will be using a chair that was my great great grandfathers when he was little. You could also do like a summery picture maybe in his swim trunks with a pale and shovel. We may do one with DD in her swimsuit..not sure yet. But we do always do 1 in a dress, 1-2 casual outfits and then something with props. Good luck!
