Wink Re: Guess what my two year old ate for luch!

My DD loves Thai food and all kinds of veggies-she was NG tube fed for 6 months and had lots of feeding issues (she functions around a 2 or 3 yr old, so I felt this applies ). My 2+ yo loves broccoli, but won't eat tortilla chips. Go figure..........

Re: Guess what my two year old ate for luch!

DS will eat anything, and when he does, he eats a lot of it! He will eat about the same portion size as me, but poops 3x as much! (too much info? yes? okay....) He's been known to enjoy jalapeno chips, supreme pizza, ketchup, etc. They always told me my kid would be more inclined to eat bland foods, but it seems just the opposite! He loves food with lots of flavor. Maybe its genetic, DH does pour hot sauce all over everything he eats....

My daughter will be 3 next week and for the last year one of her favorite foods is hummus (the more salt & garlic the better). She'll dip just about anything in it (cereal, veggies, meat...)

My 2 year old daughter is a broccoli feen! I think its funny that we have to tell her she has to eat other foods before her broccoli.. haha...Oh, and green beans are like candy...however she hates meat....maybe she's going all vegetarian on me!

DS #1 is obsessed with salad! He will eat it over almost anything. He also loves carrots, all manner of veggies and fruit. He is a very good eater. The only thing he doesn't like is ravioli (which stinks cause DH is Italian!!). Our babies eat everything under the sun too (pickles, olives, you name it).

Re: Guess what my two year old ate for luch!

My kids eat all kinds of weird stuff. Neither one would eat jarred baby food so we have had to be creative from day one with them. They both like liverwurst (thanks to my mom - blech!) and my oldest will inhale Hot sauce. They both like anything spicy and/or ethnic. Oh yeah, and their 'dessert' is a concoction of fresh fruits and veggies all ground up in a Vita-Mix to make 'juice'...they literally inhale this stuff (and what is SO GREAT about this is there are veggies in there that even I wouldn't eat prepared, but because they are fresh and obliterated mixed in with fruits, no one would ever know - yum!).

And oddly, they don't care for normal kid foods like nuggets, mac n cheese, pb&j, etc. There really isn't a whole lot they won't eat!

My boys don't like nuggets either.
