Bed rails?

My ODS (4) has fallen out of his twin bed twice this week so I'm thinking about purchasing bed rails. Has anyone used bed rails? Any good or bad brands to stay away from? I'm thinking about looking at Wal-mart or Toy R Us tomorrow for them.

Re: Bed rails?

We bought one for my ds who is almost two at Target. I believe it's the The First Years brand. It was about 25-30 dollars, not sure, but works great for us!!

Re: Bed rails?

Ikea has wooden ones that clamp on to the bedrail if your bed has one. They're $10 and pretty attractive IMO. I have one of those big mesh ones with the metal frame, not sure of the brand. I got it at a yard sale for $3. It's on my bed since we co-sleep and works just fine.

Re: Bed rails?

we got ours at the local thrift shop for $2.99. LOVE IT. Our dd doesn't fall out of her bed anymore... it was a huge issue. she'd even fall out of a toddler bed.

Re: Bed rails?

We have them on our kids custom made toddler bunk beds.I didn't want a solid high rail on the top bunk so we put them on.With the mesh it has much better air flow and they hold up very well.

Re: Bed rails?

I found one today at Toys R Us and even successfully installed it myself. I think it should work great for my DS! Thanks for everyone's suggestions! Now I don't have to worry about him falling out of bed anymore.
