Re: Question about wearing my baby?

i always did a high-back carry with a MT, tying above belly/beneath breasts. i carried low and tying below belly was very uncomfortable in order to get it tight enough for there to be support.

getting kid on back... if they're toddlers, you can sit down on a couch and have them climb on. i generally just scoot them from my hip to my back. but for a high back carry, it's easier to just put the MT under their arms and toss them over your shoulder (aka the santa toss method) and then tie it on from there.

and yes, kelley has great pregnancy babywearing pics on kozycarrier.com

My dd loves the santa toss. As soon as I take a carrier out of the closet she puts her arms up and gets ready to get swung. She's 13 mos and we've been doing this since she's been about 6 mos.
And I do think that high back carries are the comfiest. Usually via the mei tai or a wrap in a tibetan-style carry. I'm starting to find the bottom mei tai strap to be a pain though. I tried a podegi this past weekend and fell in love.
