Bad rash

My son woke up this am with an awful red rash, its covering his whole bottom area, it looks like he was burned down there im not sure whats going on or what to do? He hasnt had a rash like this ever....any ideas of what it could be? He was in a cloth diaper, a BG 3.0.....I put some powder and rash cream thats safe for cloth on him and nothings helping. Any ideas??

I have heard of ammonia burns, but I wonder if it could be yeast? Usually diaper creams don't make a yeast rash better (it usually gets worse), and they are generally bright red rashes.

hmm im gonna do some research, its all red like he got sunburned...it prob is ammonia I think. I am having such a hard time finding over night diapers that work for him...and dont leak thanks for ur help!!

What about something breathable? You could try a nice, absorbent fitted diaper and wool.

Yeast usually has little red dots in addition to the bright red look.
