Do we have a name thread yet?

we are so totally undecided!

I've always wanted Emily Dawn...however being a teacher it is so hard to find a name that a student didn't "ruin" for you! I had an Emily this year that was a total monster!

My great grandmother's name is Josephine...my grandma is Shirley Jo...my mom is Sheri Jo...and my sister is Sara Jo....when my sister was killed 10 years ago we all knew that someone needed to carry on that tradition. So I was thinking Sophia Jo which is the name that she wanted to name her daughter....however our neighbor girl is named Sophia...and I won't do Sophie because that was a neighbors dogs name growing up!

Other names:
Elizabeth (my dad loves that name...my fil has a sister named Elizabeth and refuses us using it!)
Lillian
Ella (DH like's that name....but I think she will be called Ella-phant growing up!)


If ds gets his way she will be named A-sister

we are going to keep her name a secret until after she is born....that's what we did with Steven.


can't do Claire Addison my sister is doing that name for her baby due 10/10/10


I just keep telling people that she will have a name before she leaves the hospital!

I think it would be really special to name her Sophia Jo. That little girl won't be your neighbor forever... right? What a cool way to honor your sister.

I let my oldest pick out the name if it is a girl, he chose Carlee Shae.
We have no idea what to name it if it is a boy.

I also really like Piper for a girl, but ever since my oldest picked Carlee, it just kind of felt right. I was not a huge fan at first, but it really has grown on me.
Gosh, I hope this is a girl....LOL!

ETA: I really like Carlee Mae as well...

I can't seem to commit to a name. So far me and dh's favorite name is Wesley Ryan. Zachary is a close second. Recently I've been trying to talk him into Noah Patrick, but he doesn't like it at all. It's so hard to find the right name!

We wanted Noah soooo bad but my husband's cousin named his son that... and they live next door to my husband's parents...so way to close for them to have them same name... but I LOVE that name!

Since my uncle died this week...I've been thinking about naming her Randi (his name was Randy)....But I don't know


Just keep telling myself....she'll have a name before we leave the hospital!

Steven called her "Bonkey Donkey" the other day and is sticking with it!

laura-big hugs...wow a 6th? I thought Michael the 3rd was a big one. I can't win that argument either. I haven't pushed it much though.

Michael is so boring...sigh...but he seems like a michael already.
