After another mama here suggested to check out Lucy's Hope chest for AIOs I now looked at her site and am honestly a lil' clueless what exactly the difference is between woven vs knit fabric??? Could somebody please enlighten me!? I know, it's totally embarrassing not to know this, but what can I say!...

Re: What's the difference: Woven vs knit??
A woven fabric is made by weaving the fibers in an over/under pattern. Generally wovens have very little stretch to them. Men's button-down dress shirts are made from woven fabric.
Knit fabric is, well it's knitted, much like you'd take knitting needles and yarn and knit. Knit fabric is generally stretchy. Tshirts are made from knit fabric. Does that help? |

I think wovens wick less though in an AIO.

Re: What's the difference: Woven vs knit??
With wovens you'll get a slightly less stretchy diaper too. Not too much of a noticeable differnce, but if you are right on the borderline of a rise size, it's good to just keep that in mind.
