Re: breast milk bath

YAY FOR BOOBS!!!!!!!! I express BM onto DD's bum at diaper changes when she has a rash. DH always happens to walk in when my boob is 2 inches from her bum I'm sure it's a sight!!!!
I also used BM in DD's ears when she was pulling at them and had a fever(prob an ear infection, but didn't take her in because I'm a "neglectful mama") She stopped and her fever went down within 8 hours!!!!! WOO HOO!

Re: breast milk bath

Just got home from the doctors. He said to keep doing what I am doing.

I told him I was slathering her in A&D ointment so her pee does nto get into the sores. I told him she goes naked most the day(of in a flat diaper that is loose with no cover)....I even told him I soaked her bum in breast milk.

She has not screamed once today when wet. it looks better, but still red/sore and like she has healing burns all over.

breast milk is MAGIC I swear!!!! Good thinking!
Breast milk also cures itchies. My 7 year old always ask me to squirt some in my hand to give to him to put on bug bites. Stops the itch with in seconds!

Re: breast milk bath

maybe I should soak in my own milk then.....mt allergies are severe and I am on the verge of going to get something to help with my rashes....stupid allergies....my back, legs, one arm, sometimes my chest and face, break out BAD.....it is the weather here....in Utah I was fine....then move here and it is horrible....

now what would DH think to me and both kids in a tub with white/yellowish water? hahaha

Oh I'm glad to hear I'm not the only insane mommy out there!!! DD has eczema issues, and the BM bath soooo helped her. Helped her cadle cap too! Another thought is an oatmeal bath, that makes my skin sooooo soft too!
