Re: How do you cook your pork chops? Brown rice side?

This is my favorite way. I know dinner is long since over, but thought I would contribute for the next dinner. Plus, it is fabulous with brown rice

Polynesian Pork Chops
From: Campbell's Kitchen
Prep/Cook Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

4 boneless pork chops, 3/4" thick
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
1/4 cup water
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple chunks
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. honey
2 cups cooked white rice
Sliced green onions

Directions:

SEASON chops with garlic powder.

HEAT oil in skillet. Cook chops until browned. Add onion.

ADD soup, water, pineapple with juice, soy and honey. Heat to a boil. Cook over low heat 10 min. or until done.

SERVE with rice and sprinkle with green onions.

We like them with a good sprinkle of Old Bay, and then baked.

My mom would cook them in a frying pan on the stove. She would cook one side and then after she flipped it, she would add a half can of chicken noodle soup on top of each pork chop. It sounds weird, but it was really yummy.

we somther them in onions, lol... oil the bottom of a baking dish, and lay down onions (i love them, so we use a ton) season the pork chops, we usually do salt, pepper and garlic, put them on top of the onions, and cover with more onions. drizzle the top with a little more oil. bake until theyre done

I make cocoa-cola chops

brown chops on each side, spread ketchup on both sides, pour cola into frying pan to the top of the chops, cover and simmer til most of coke has turned into a thick, tangy bbq sauce. I usually searve them with a cheesy side dish such as juliian cheese potatoes or mac n cheese!

You can make em in the crock pot and cook em on low for 6-7 hrs and they are so moist!
Brown rice is one of my faves. I use my rice cooker and when its done I add alot of butter to it.
