Will you be sad when your LO potty trains?

My husband asked me a few months ago what I was going to do when my DS is potty trained since i love diapers so much! lol It made me a little sad to think of no more fluffy cuteness. What do you obsess over after that??? lol
My older DD potty trained by 20 months, my DS is right now 17 months but telling me when he is wet and when to change him. I don't want him to potty train yet! lol

I do have a new LO due in December, so I will be cloth diapering for a while, it just makes me think what happens when cloth diapering is over?

Re: Will you be sad when your LO potty trains?

I'm in the EXACT same boat.

My l.o. who is 22 mo is just about ready to learn....and I'm due with #3 in October, but once he learns, I am going to be so sad, but so happy. I don't think I want 2 in diapers at the same time, but I don't want to give up his cute diapers an wool. For some reason I appreciate it more when they are up and moving. I love watching his fluffy wool bottom running around. Newborns just lay there, and though they look cute in it all, there is something blissful about watching you child walk and play in their diapers and wool....

Anyway, yes, I'll be sad when we are done, but I will also be happy. Not as sad as when this last one learns and I have to sell everything. I think selling it all will break my heart.

I don't know...I didn't CD my older one, and he turned 3 in May and is not yet potty trained, and I'm getting impatient for him to be! We have been working on it, but he is just not there yet. So, since he hasn't been in cloth, there's no sadness there. Now, who knows what the story will be when my daughter (who's 6 months now, and has been cloth diapered for about 2 months), is ready!

My LO pled last summer and I was sad and owning a cloth diaper store is not nearly the same as using the diapers every day.
I love seeing them every day but I can't wait to cd another child!

I have two boys in cloth at the moment. The oldest is starting to potty train and I'm already feeling a little sad. I pretty much was happy with my stash but since we aren't going to need as much, I'm feeling the need to destash. That makes me sad too as I really love what we have!
